Item #: SCP-091-DE

Object class: Euclid

Secure Containment Procedures: Three rooms in Site-DE19 with a window to the hall must be used for SCP-091-DE. The first and second rooms have to be equipped with 10 dolls, 3 remote controlled cars and a board game collection with 4 different games while SCP-091-DE is located in the first room. To assure SCP-091-DE's containment in the third room, it has to be used for accommodation of Class-D personnel. Whenever SCP-091-DE has switched to the second room, the third room has to be equiped with the objects of the first room and the first room has to be used for accommodation of personnel Class-D. Afterwards, the rooms' numeration has to be adjusted.

If SCP-091-DE has not been located in the prepared room after 24 hours, it has to be searched in every toy store within a radius of 25 km and to be returned.

Every year on 4th July SCP-091-DE has to be searched for Anna Tichavskás' (PoI-1359-DE) appartment at 12 pm and brought back to Site-DE19. If Ms. Tichavskás is in her appartment at this time, she must be given class A amnestics.

Description: SCP-091-DE is a doll with a size of 61 cm, blond curly hair, blue eyes and a pink dress. It has a flower arrangement on its hair. Head, hands and feet consist of vinyl, while the body is from soft padded fabric. SCP-091-DE has a label with the inscription "Ms Mirablis, Magic & Mystik Co." under its dress.

Whenever SCP-091-DE is seen by a female child between 3 and 12 years old from a store window of a toy store, it begins to do dancing moves. Every person with direct eye contact to SCP-091-DE hears a song that according to the listening persons is sung by SCP-091-DE. The song is about a doll in a store who is seen by a girl and is bought afterwards. The language of the song depends on the native language of the child who has seen SCP-091-DE. If two children see SCP-091-DE at the same time, it remains without movements until one of them stops the eye contact. After the song the child gets the desire to hold SCP-091-DE in her arms and to keep it. If not allowed, she tries to persuade his parents, promises to behave well or tries other methods to get SCP-091-DE. The effect stops after 5 minutes and the child forgets SCP-091-DE. In the following 5 minutes SCP-091-DE remains non-active even if seen by another female child.

When a child is in possession of SCP-091-DE, it plays with SCP-091-DE and ignores other toys it owns. If the child stops to play with SCP-091-DE, SCP-091-DE is seen next to a now destroyed toy. Mostly the damage is a dissection or in case of electric toys a short circuit. The damaged object is according to the proband the favourite toy of the child. The effect only occures, when no direct eye contact has been kept with SCP-091-DE for 15 minutes and when it is not observed in the time. It does not matter if SCP-091-DE is seen directly or through a video recording. In case of a video recording without an observer is a short bright flicker after 15 minutes to see, in which SCP-091-DE is no longer visible. The effect does not occur if the child sleeps with SCP-091-DE. SCP-091-DE is only seen next to another damaged toy, if the child has played with it again.

After two weeks of owning the child loses interest in SCP-091-DE and does not notice it. As soon as the child has not played with SCP-091-DE for 4 weeks, SCP-091-DE disappears and is seen at a store window in the nearest toy store after 24 hours. If it does not get bought after 72 hours, it disappears and is seen in an other toy store after 24 hours. Every coworker in the store with SCP-091-DE claims that SCP-091-DE was always on sale. In the time of disappearence SCP-091-DE cannot be located and a radiolocation device does not send any signal. After apperance the device cannot be found neither on SCP-091-DE nor whereever else. No way has been found to prevent SCP-091-DE disappearence, since it disappears even with direct eye contact. In this case it is seen, how SCP-091-DE is no longer there from one moment to the next. SCP-091-DE disappears, if it cannot be seen from outside.

It appears that SCP-091-DE defines every room with toys and games that can be seen from outside as a toy store. Therefore has to be at least 10 toys and two games in the room, but the in the special containment procedures listed numbers of 10 dolls, 3 remote controlled cars and a board game collection of 4 games guarantees an appearance of SCP-091-DE. It only appeares in the same room twice, if the room has not been used for other purposes as e. g. bedroom.

Only one case has been documented where SCP-091-DE has sung a song for a female person over 12 years (see Document Diary Entries of Anna Tichavská). In this case the person treats SCP-091-DE as an own child and names it "Amilie". It is unclear, if the effect originates from SCP-091-DE or from the person itself.

Discovery: SCP-091-DE was sighted next to Tom ██████ on 26.07.2003, who was found dead in his bathtube. The cause of death was an electric shock from a hairdryer. During the investigation Anna Tichavská was suspected because of a possible motive. Agent █████, who worked undercover as a police officer, consulted Tichavská and discovered thence SCP-091-DE. Anna Tichavská, her mother and Ms. Tichabská's coworkers were given class A amnestics after interrogation.

Attachment SCP-091-DE-A: This letter was impunded by the foundation when examining Ms Tichavská.

Dear Ms. Anna Tichavská

I heard that you've taken up one of my "children". First I wanted to thank you warmly. Amilie is sometimes a little willful. Preferably you should give her a lot of attention and keep her away from dangerous objects and places. I wanted to ask you if you'd be able to talk her round to come back to her "Mom". The little blond tuft ran away from home without saying me why. Was I a too strict mother? In any case I wanted to ask you to look after her before I pick her up. She can sometime be a scumb if she doesn‘t get much attention.

You can contact me on this address: [CENSORED] I hope I'll get an answer.

Faithfully

Ms Mirablis

Notes: The sender designated as PoI-1989-DE is for now unknown since every investigation has been so far unsucessful.

Attachment SCP-091-DE-B: On 03.07.2004 SCP-091-DE disappeared even though 72 hours have not passed and was found with Anna Tichavská, who was in her appartment, on 04.07. Ms Tichavská tried to run away with SCP-091-DE when she saw the responce forces, but was arrested and SCP-091-DE taken away. According to interrogation she found SCP-091-DE when she came from church and remembered it. She was given A class amnestic and the special containment procedures were adjusted.

Supplement from ██.██.2000: According to new investigations from analysing old files from another group of interest the sender of the letter could be associated with another person, who apparently is in correlation with other SCPs. The label confirms the assumption that she could be assigned with a group in course of this year, which the foundation could connect with manufactoring and selling of anomalies.
